Hello and welcome to Maths Functional Skills at Dewsbury. Your course tutors for this section of work are Richard and Ros.
Functional Skills qualifications are designed to enable students to develop confidence and fluency in maths and English. They equip students with the practical skills to get the most out of education, work and everyday life and to help them function more confidently, effectively and independently.
You will have your maths session twice a week and each session will last 1.5 hours.

In order to improve on your grade from school or college you should be aware that excellent attendance and a positive attitude towards learning is essential.
