Hi my name is Inderjit, I am a Health Social Care Tutor at Aspire-igen, Leeds. I have been teaching in Health & Social Care for over 13 years. I have taught in secondary and FE from Level 1 to level 3 and Level 4 and up to foundation degree level to mature students.
I have a Bsc Hons in Human Physiology , Post Graduate Certificate in Education / Training Post 16 in Health Sciences and Masters in Health Science - Nutrition.
The requirements for the Health & Social Care course is commitment, enthusiasm, good attendance, being on time for all lessons and completion of health and social care course work, along with good attendance for maths and English.
The careers you can follow in the health and social care are vast. Level 1 and 2 gives you access to careers as a carer and support worker within the health, social and child care fields.
You can explore careers through a variety of avenues either through apprenticeships or further and higher study in the following fields such as nursing, midwife, social worker, nursery nurse , primary teacher , nutritionist, dietician , radiographer, occupational therapist dietician and many more within the in the health and social care setting.
