The Level 1 in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s Settings aims to develop your knowledge and awareness of health, social care and children’s and young people’s settings. It is aimed at learners who wish to develop an understanding of the similarities and differences between these settings.
This is a great course if you know you would like to help and care for others but you have not yet made the decision about what age range or sector. This course covers from birth to end of life. It has a balance of units based around childcare and Health and Social Care. It gives an introduction about the wider health and social care sector before you decide whether working in the sector is for you and gain information to make decisions about career progression.
